Concrete Made to Order Guide
Many of our products are custom made to order. Our concrete products typically have the lengthiest delivery times if not in stock, particularly because they require time to cure before we can ship them.
Vases, pots, and planters have the lengthiest delivery times. They require the most time to manufacture, particularly if they have a smooth finish, painted design, and protective coating.
Ensure that all contact information is current as we may require confirmation of certain items prior to commencing production.

Information Needed & Confirmation
Please ensure all necessary details such as color and finish are chosen or entered in the special instruction box during checkout. We will email you to confirm your choices before production starts.
Please double-check that all contact information is accurate. Failure to receive an email confirmation verifying the accuracy of your order may cause delays or lead to cancellation.
Measurements & Weights
Please note that the measurements and weights provided in the product descriptions are estimates based on previous versions of the product. Due to its handmade nature, exact measurements and weights will vary.
Dispatch & Delivery Times
Our products are meticulously handcrafted, which means they require sufficient time for creation and finishing.
Our goal is to speed up the time it takes to send out orders by focusing on making products that haven't been requested yet up to a specific point in the manufacturing process. However, there may be situations where it is not feasible to do so, necessitating the creation of made to order products from scratch and giving priority to ordered products.
Each product description includes estimated dispatch times. We strive to provide regular updates on the progress and will notify you when the item is ready to be dispatched. Delivery typically takes 2-4 business days after it has been dispatched, depending on the chosen shipping method and courier.
Concrete Painting Guide
Our products are meticulously hand-painted, often tailored to your selected color or style. If an item is painted to order, it may take 1-5 days before dispatch. The duration depends on the specific product, our workload, and the protective finish you've chosen.
We strive to send an email within 1 business day to notify you of any potential delays and their duration.

Colours Available
Our standard colour options and paint styles are constantly expanding, ensuring that you have a wide selection to choose from. We strive to consistently update the list whenever possible.
Should a color become unavailable after your order placement, we will promptly notify you. At that point, you may choose an alternative colour or cancel your order.
Custom Colour

Colour / Image Disclaimer
Despite every effort to provide accurate images of each product’s colour and design, actual colours and design may vary slightly, In addition, colours and image size may vary based upon your screen resolution and other computer settings outside of our control. The image may differ from the actual product due to reproduction limitations and limitations of viewing images at different resolutions, hue, brightness, contrast, and other screen variations, slight differences in product finishes over time and other factors. Blue Moon Workshop will not accept responsibility for any colour or design differences that are not factory faults. In purchasing from Blue Moon Workshop, you agree to accept the small risk that there will be a slight variation between the actual colour and design, and the representation on our website.

We recommend a protective coating to all our concrete products.
External protections help with keeping your purchase looking good for longer.
Internal protections can help with water resistance.

Internal Protection
Pots & Flowerpots - Because concrete is porous, we apply water resisting agents inside these items as standard to assist with water retention for any soil that may be used inside, so it does not dry out to quickly.
Vases - Protection levels differ among vases, with each vase's waterproof status mentioned in the description.
Some are decorative only and do not hold any liquids.
Water resisting agents are applied to some to help with water retention, while we cannot guarantee 100% effectiveness due to the variables in concrete characteristics, this process is typically effective.
Certain products feature internal plastic liners that make them completely watertight unless the lining is punctured by something sharp.
If dark spots appear on the exterior of your vase, this may indicate water seepage. It is advisable to remove any liquid and allow the vase to air dry naturally.

External Protection.
External Protective coatings available at no extra charge.
A transparent layer providing adequate safeguard against minor impacts and collisions.
Available in matt, satin & gloss finishes.
A Polyurethane protective coating is applied to some products.
A transparent and durable coating, that is also food safe. The use of this would be indicated in the product description.

Resin Protective Coating
Resin Coating available at extra charge on some products.
Resin is a durable transparent coating providing excellent protection. Price varies for each product.
